Research for Writing.
Pick two of these sections and talk about what Melissa means by Research for ____. What examples does she use? What questions does she ask?
In RESEARCH FOR INSPIRATION, Melissa talks about how to stay inspired by everyday occurances. One way of doing this is writing poems from the newspaper. Mundane things can cause a spark of inspiration, they should create some inspiration. I connect to this, becuase you can always create becuase even the mundane is about someones life, and to them their life could be the most interesting thing.
In RESEARCH FOR WRITING, Melissa discusses the everyday things you should be doing as a writer to keep you creative. These examples include keeping a notebook with your for quotations and everyday occurances, or having a show box full of newpaper clippings. This way you will never experience a writers block, you have so many outlets of ideas to keep you fresh with inspiration.
Then answer the following questions: Which one of these did you use most for your last project? Give an example of research you did for each of your genres.
For my website I have done a lot of research on actors and their work. I think this research could fall in many categories: Research for detail and research for learning.
