Why couldn't the columns of the Citicorp center be built on the buildings corners?
The building had to be built around the church and in the airway above St Peter's church.
What is the Citicorp building's major flaw? What could happen? Describe.
The stilts on the side in the middle lead teh structure to be not as stabel as typically sound for building a building of this stature. The building could blow over with the wind. Typically building are strongest at the corners, and perpendicular winds will cause a huge strain.
Who discovered this flaw and tried to make it public?
An undergrad architechtural student pointed out the flaw. Diana Lee Hartley wrote her paper on this in college to have it published.
