Who is Brian Reed?
Brain Reed runs the podcast as senior producer of This American Life. He is the facilitator of this particular podcast.
Who is John B. McLemore?
Is a civilian in the S-Town. He grew up in the S-Town, and lives on his plot of land that his grandfather owned. On this land, he brings in stray dogs. John is concerned with the corruption in the town he currently lives in.
Why is Brian in S-Town?
Brain aids John B. McLemore in getting to the bottom of the corruption of the bottom of the S-Town. This is only after John kept persistent dialouge between himself and Brian.
Briefly talk about time in this podcast episode.
Well first of all, the story opens with talking about old clocks. Already bringing in time. Brian Reed and John B. McLemore talked for years before they moved forward with the investigations and uncovering. They then discuss through a series of events that occured over time in the "s-town". After John insists that he cover this story, Brian Reed travels to S-Town with a low profile. Clearly the time is chronological, concerning the events and their timeline.
Brian makes an interesting remark that John does not follow the daylight savings time. There are several mentions of time throughout the podcast. Brian relates back to the clocks many times.

Ysrael is a man with deformities. Due to an accident his face is severly altered. He wears a mask in order to cover his imperfections from the world, but eveybody is intrigued by his differences.
Why are Yunior and Rafa in the campo?
They go there every summer when they are not in school. There mother works at a chocolate factory and cant care for them all day on top of her work.
What is Rafa and Yunior's relationship like?
When at home, there relationship is strained. But when they are together at the Campo, they only have each other, they bond over how much they hate it. The older brother makes more of an effort to include the younger in his life.
