What is my purpose with my research? Which genres are best for what I want to do?
The purpose with my research was to prove that the stanislavski method impacts all people today.
The genres I chose to work with, and that I think and best for this topic, are twitter, website, and poster.
How familiar is my audience with my topic? What assumptions might my audience make about my topic?
A majority of people will be clueless of the topic. My idea is to target artistic people first, which I think would creatre traction, then people who enjoy movies, plays, etc, then to the rest of the greater public.
Intital thoughts are likely to include-
1. How to you even pronounce that name?
2. Where is this guy from?
3. He looks old.
4. This guy is probably a scientist or philosopher.
How will I connect with my audience?
As previously mentioned. I have target groups to build traction.
Pulling the audience in with pleasing visuals is my first tactic. From there I want to begin with the most interesting information, becuase the explanations can be dense and turn people away. Also, similarily to my paper, I would like to draw in the names of individuals who are well known.
What is the best mode for saying what I want to say?
In terms of mode, I want a variety. A nice balance will allow a pleasing draw from all audiences.
What are my favorite genres to compose in and what are my strengths as a composer?
I definitely chose my favorite topics to compose in for my topic.
As I am in a creative major, I plan on using those strengths to better my project.
